An Intimate Beachside Wedding Using Local Flora

Who says weddings always have to be large and fussy? Sometimes simplicity says it ALL and sometimes you just want those who are closest and dearest to you to be present in the moment. And that is what this bride and groom did! It was just them and the bride's parents and the groom's brother! The stayed at a local Air B and B and the bride decided that she wanted to incorporate vibrant local bougainvillea for her arch that was placed near the shoreline for their ceremony. She also opted for a bouquet of pale pink peonies with a matching boutonniere for the groom. The morning started out stormy and rainy and the bride and I stayed in contact throughout the day to ensure that we would be able to pull it off as she had contacted her photographer to notify her that if the terrible rain persisted, then the wedding would be moved to the next day!
