Stormy Blue, Glitter Pink & Gold Accent

The saying goes, April showers brings May flowers but with this destination wedding in May 2018, there were more than showers, there were torrential downpours for days, weeks! 😡

This destination bride visited Nassau on several occasions, viewing her wedding sites because she loved the ceremony location she had chosen.

On the day of the wedding, the weather was overcast and windy and despite the wedding being scheduled for later in the day, the weather (torrential downpours) never did let up and it grew worse as the day went on therefore causing the bride to make the call to have her ceremony held in the hotel (same location as the reception!) 😢

Despite the terrible weather outside, we made the ceremony bright and beautiful and the reception was a glittery and candle-lit beauty which made up for the displacement of the ceremony!

The bride wanted stormy blue linens, vibrant pink glitter cloths for the Captains' tables, accents of gold and some greenery! We handmade a greenery runner for the sweetheart table and accented it with gold "Mr. & Mrs." letters, stormy blue linens for the guests' tables, sequin pink linens for the main family tables, gold charger plates, gold-framed table numbers and gold chivari chairs.

The theme was TRAVEL and the bride provided small favors accented with gold keys!

Candle-light tied the look together! Stormy outside, but sparkling and glittering inside!😉
